Venerable Shim Bo is the Abbot and Spiritual Director of White Lotus Haven Zen of Connecticut, Inc., an active Buddhist community in Collinsville, CT. As a Zen Buddhist monk, he offers instruction in Zen meditation and chanting, provides spiritual guidance, leads services, and gives dharma talks. Venerable Shim Bo also serves as Buddhist Chaplain at Sacred Heart University and Zen Buddhist Leader and Spiritual Director at Trinity College. He is a Dharma Mentor for the Buddhist Association of the United States (BAUS) Prisoner Correspondence Course, extending Buddhist teachings to incarcerated individuals nationwide. |
