Thomaston Historical Society Field Trip

Our Rotary meeting on Thursday, October 30th will be a little different — we’ve organized a field trip to the Thomaston Historical Society, which is located on Level 6 of the Town Hall. We’ll start by having lunch with 6–7 Historical Society members who are joining us, and then head over together (by foot or ride) for a tour of their space. The Society has been busy organizing boxes of items donated by Thomaston residents, and they’ve created a wonderful display throughout the room — with pieces on the walls, in cabinets, on mannequins, and even more treasures stored in their archive room. It’s truly impressive how much history they’ve preserved, and I think our Rotarians will be amazed at the variety and volume of items on display.
