This initiative opens new opportunities for younger students to participate in interscholastic sports, fostering growth, teamwork, and community spirit. It’s an inspiring example of how Thomaston's schools are investing in the future of Thomaston’s youth.
District 5280 Disaster Relief Fund
A Message from Assistant Rotary Regional Coordinator for District 7890 Prasad Menon
District 5280 has created a Disaster Relief Fund to collect funds that will be utilized to bring hope and real solutions to our community. They have decided to support:
- Local organizations who are on the frontlines providing support to those in need (immediate needs),
- Create a Rotarian Relief Fund for any Rotarians negatively impacted by the wildfires (immediate needs),
- Provide pass through funding to our Clubs who want to develop a service project that will benefit those impacted and our first responders (short and medium term),
- Provide funds that will focus on long term support (long term needs).
The Rotary District 5280 Charitable Foundation is accepting donations to assist those affected by the wildfires in Los Angeles County. Your donation is tax deductible and will directly impact those most devastated by this disaster. The tax ID of the Charitable Foundation is 95-4597691.
