Call for District Governor Candidates by April Beston, 7890 District Governor
The greatest honor of my life has been to serve as your District Governor. One of my most important responsibilities is to ensure the continuity of leadership of our district. We are seeking committed Rotarians to serve as District Governor for the 2028-29 Rotary year. If you have an interest in filling this important role please fill out the attach form and return it to me prior to September 30th. If you have questions about this important commitment, I strongly encourage you to reach out to me for more information. This is three and a half year commitment that has been the most exciting and fun-filled of my life. That being said, it requires a significant time commitment, and all interested parties should be fully informed before taking on this role. So do not hesitate to approach me with any questions. I am so excited to speak to those who feel called to this role, and look forward to announcing your District Governor Nominee Designate later this year.
Through Rotary, police officer Joanne Serkeyn expanded her view of how to make a difference. In July, Serkeyn will become the governor of District 7090
