Rotary District 7890 believes that youth are our inspiration for today and a legacy for our future. Our District has active and dedicated committees creating working hard to make a difference for our young people. The following programs are currently planned for the spring of 2025 and beyond.
Rotary Youth Leadership Award is schedule for May 31st at Springfield College. This program is for High School Sophomores and will take place at Springfield College. Please consider sponsoring one or more students for this event. The details and registration forms are currently on our district website.
Our annual Interact conference was on hiatus during the pandemic, but is being planned this year on April 5, 2025. This event is designed to bring Interactors together from all over our District to share stories of their Service Activities and begin to brainstorm ideas for establishing an interact network in District 7890. Please consider working with your Interactors to send a delegation to this very important conference. More information and registration forms will be available in the very near future on the district Website.
Our youth exchange has been reinvigorated in the late ast two years and the sky is the limit for this very important youth program. Brendan Goodrich, Lyman Louis and Alex Reczkowski are Rotary Youth exchange authorities and will be glad to help you nurture 14 to 18 year old potential international travelers. Information for this program can also be found on the District website. The committee is looking for outgoing students and host families.
