On November 6, Thomaston High School (THS) held a meaningful Day of Service, bringing students and Rotarians together to volunteer and demonstrate their commitment to civic and social responsibilities through various impactful activities. The event was organized by a dedicated committee of THS teachers and staff, who worked hard to ensure its success. The school community and Rotary Club of Thomaston came together to volunteer and donate items, which students and Rotarians packed and organized for active military members, veterans, and the Susan B. Anthony project.
Multiple Thomaston Rotarians, along with the Club's treasury, donated a total of $455 to support the military care packages organized during the Day of Service. In addition, Rotarian Briea Pinnette generously donated her time to one of the service projects, while Rotarian Jennesa Leclair selflessly contributed her time and items to another. Both Rotarians are "People of Action", exemplifying the spirit of community service through their dedication and contributions.
