2025 Community Grant Recipients!
We’re rolling out the red carpet this Thursday as the Rotary Club of Thomaston proudly welcomes the recipients of our 2025 Community Grants! This year, 28 incredible local organizations will receive a combined total of $15,600 in funding to support meaningful, community-centered projects that make Thomaston a better place to live, work, and thrive.
Our Community Grant Program—now a beloved local tradition—provides up to $750 to civic groups, clubs, and nonprofits whose work aligns with Rotary’s mission of Service Above Self.

2025 Citizens of the Year
Bill & Betsy Edwards
On April 10, 2025, the Rotary Club of Thomaston proudly celebrated the 41st annual Citizen of the Year Banquet at the Grand Oak Villa in Oakville, honoring Betsy and Bill Edwards for their distinguished community service. Their unwavering commitment to Thomaston has left a lasting impact, and we were thrilled to recognize their contributions.
The event was a tremendous success, raising nearly $9,500. These funds will directly benefit the Rotary Club of Thomaston’s Scholarship Fund, which has given $95,000 in scholarships over the last five years to deserving students from Thomaston. This year's scholarships will be awarded in honor of Betsy and Bill Edwards, further extending their legacy of service.
